COLE SOFTWARE^® INTRODUCES c/XDC-Lite™

AFTON, Va., September 05, 2006/ -- c/XDC-Lite™, the source level diagnostic tool for mainframe C programmers, is now generally available!

Cole Software LLC of Afton, VA is well known for its flagship debugging product, z/XDC^®, a comprehensive diagnostic facility for systems-level programmers working on IBM’s z/OS^® platform. Today, we are pleased to announce the availability of c/XDC-Lite.

c/XDC-Lite is a source-level debugging tool for mainframe C programs generated with the Dignus LLC Systems/C compiler. c/XDC-Lite offers a client/server technology, including a GUI component that runs on a PC and the c/XDC-Lite debugging server that runs on a mainframe. The c/XDC-Lite GUI has multiple tabbed windows and panels that allow users to perform powerful diagnostic tasks with the click of a mouse.

c/XDC-Lite offers nearly all the low-level functionality z/XDC users have enjoyed for many years, including the ability to debug APF-authorized programs, multitasking programs, batch jobs and other system-related code, complete with a user-friendly interface. Over time, you can expect us to add more functionality in C language, including support for debugging IBM C language programs.
